Mary Joan is a Certified Emotionally Focused Therapist and an approved supervisor candidate with the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT).

As the practice continues to grow, the team is eager to welcome therapists who share their mission of providing a safe, supportive space for clients to engage in deep emotional work that transforms lives and strengthens relationships.

This is a heart-centered practice that takes immense pride in the quality of care they provide, not only for their clients, but also in the way they support and uplift one another as colleagues.

About The Relationship Centre

The Relationship Centre first opened its doors in 2006 as the private practice of founder Mary Joan Brinson. In 2018, it grew into a thriving group practice with locations in Belleville and Kingston, Ontario, offering therapy services to children, teens, adults, couples, and families.

At The Relationship Centre, we specialize in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and a range of evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches that help people heal, grow, and strengthen their relationship with themselves and those who matter most to them.
