In the flow of everyday life, there are moments when what we are carrying can begin to feel overwhelming or difficult to sort through, especially on your own. You may be feeling stuck, unsure, disconnected, or like your thoughts are hard to sort through. I want to create a space where you can slow down, feel supported, and talk openly about what has been weighing on you without fear of judgment.
In therapy with me, my hope is that you feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are – you do not need to know the “right” place to start. My hope is to create a space where difficult emotions feel more understandable and manageable, and where you feel supported in making sense of what has been weighing on you. Together, we can begin exploring your experiences at a pace that feels right for you, while focusing on what feels most supportive and meaningful in your life right now.
I enjoy supporting youth and adults as they move through seasons of change, uncertainty, or emotional stress, with a focus on creating a space that feels open and free of expectations about how things “should” be expressed or understood. In our work together, I aim to meet people where they are, whether they are trying to make sense of themselves more deeply, navigate relational changes, or work to understand difficult emotions, while allowing meaning to unfold in a way that feels natural and unforced.
I am a Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and a Master of Counselling Psychology student currently enrolled at Yorkville University. My work experience includes supporting youth and adults from a wide range of backgrounds, including individuals living with acquired brain injuries and individuals with autism. Across these experiences, I have come to appreciate that support is never one-size-fits-all, and I carry that understanding into the way I stay present with each person’s unique process.
Outside of therapy, I spend time with family and friends, and I also find peace in travel, being outdoors, and exploring the natural spaces around me, especially Prince Edward County. These parts of my life help me stay connected and present, and they remind me of the importance of slowing down and making space for the moments that are often easy to overlook.
Taking the first step can feel uncertain, but you do not have to do it alone. I would be honoured to support you as you make sense of what feels heavy and explore what healing can look like for you.
