about-me

MSW, RSW

Life can bring seasons that feel heavy and uncertain. You might be moving through a major life or career transition, feeling distant in your relationships, or carrying the weight of past experiences that still affect you today. In those moments, it’s easy to feel stuck or unsure of where to turn. My role is to offer a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can feel seen, supported, and understood.

In therapy, we’ll take time to slow down and make sense of what’s happening in your inner world and in your relationships. Together, we’ll gently explore the patterns that may be causing distress and discover new ways of moving forward that bring greater clarity, peace, and connection. My work is rooted in trauma-informed care, meaning I hold deep respect for the impact of past experiences while focusing on your strength, resilience, and capacity to heal, all while going at your pace and respecting your individuality and intersectionality.

You may find our work especially supportive if you are: navigating life or career stressors;
seeking to strengthen or repair relationships that feel strained; carrying the effects of trauma, grief, or overwhelming stress; or wanting to shift old family dynamics that no longer serve you.

I am a Registered Social Worker with a Master of Social Work degree, and I draw on several therapeutic approaches in my work. I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). While each of these modalities has its own strengths, I most often use an eclectic approach — weaving together elements from each one to meet your unique needs and honour your individual journey.

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy staying active through sports, heading out for long hikes in the cool, crisp air, and spending time with friends and family.

Reaching out for help takes courage. You don’t have to carry everything on your own, and you don’t have to figure it all out on your own. I would be honoured to walk alongside you as you take steps toward healing, connection, and new possibilities.
