My approach is warm, grounded, and human — we’ll sit together in the hard moments and celebrate the light ones too.
about-me

MSW, RSW

Life doesn’t come with a guidebook, and it’s easy to feel overwhelmed when stress, loss, or change pile up. You may be doing your best to keep it all together, but inside you feel stuck, lonely, or unsure of what comes next. In this space, you don’t have to have all the answers — you will have a place to breathe, to be heard, and supported in finding the answers together.

I believe one of the most important parts of therapy is the connection you build with your therapist. My style is warm and steady, but also direct — I want our time together to feel meaningful, practical, and worthwhile for you. Together, we’ll sort through what’s weighing on you, uncover what’s happening beneath the surface, and make space for growth and compassion.

I draw on Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and work from a trauma and attachment-informed lens. What this means for you is that therapy can shift between slowing down emotions, building skills for coping, or simply having a place to sit with what feels too heavy to carry alone.

I work with adults navigating stress, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, substance use or caregiving responsibilities.  I also support couples who feel stuck in conflict, weighed down by intimacy struggles, or longing for a stronger connection. I have experience walking alongside people in crisis and I also welcome those exploring questions around faith or meaning as part of their journey.  I have a particular heart for people who might be skeptical about therapy — the ones juggling hard work, heavy stress and wondering if it’ll even help, but wanting to try something new.

I am a Registered Social Worker with a BSW and MSW, with 15 years of experience in health and community services. My professional path has shown me the resilience people hold, even in the toughest circumstances, and how much healing can happen when you feel seen and understood.

Outside of therapy, I value laughter, creativity, and time spent outdoors. Humour is an important part of how I move through life — I believe it can bring light even into difficult seasons.Taking that first step can feel uncertain, but it’s also a chance to create something different. In our work, we’ll focus on what matters most to you and discover a new way forward.
