Helping kids navigate big emotions and grow with confidence.
Regulate Emotions
Build Confidence
and self-esteem.
Improve Focus
Every parent wants the best for their child.
Even young children can struggle with big feelings and experiences they don’t yet have the tools to manage.
You might notice more meltdowns, school refusal, emotional outbursts, or your child becoming more withdrawn. They may worry more, struggle to focus or sit still, or simply seem “off” in a way you can’t quite name.
But one thing is clear: you just want to help them feel better.

Attend a Parent Intake Session
Before we meet your child, we meet with you to learn more about what’s happening and your concerns.

FAQ's About Child Therapy
What age do you work with for child therapy?
We offer therapy for children ages 4 and up, using play-based and age-appropriate techniques to help them explore emotions, build skills, and feel supported.
What kinds of issues can child therapy help with?
Therapy can help children manage anxiety, anger, grief, ADHD, school issues, family transitions, low self-esteem, and more. If your child seems “off” or is struggling with big emotions, therapy can help.
How involved are parents in the therapy process?
Very involved! We begin with a parent intake session and continue to include you throughout your child’s therapy journey. You'll receive tools and insights to support your child at home.
What does a typical child therapy session look like?
Sessions often include play, art, stories, or gentle conversation—depending on your child’s age and needs. These approaches help your child feel comfortable while developing emotional and coping skills.
How do I know if my child needs therapy?
Signs your child may need support include frequent meltdowns, sleep issues, withdrawal, anxiety, school refusal, or trouble focusing. If your instinct says something isn’t right, we’re here to help.
Do you offer virtual sessions for children?
Yes, we offer virtual therapy across Ontario for children who are a good fit for online support. In certain cases, virtual sessions can work well, but we find that most young children benefit more from in-person therapy at our Belleville or Kingston offices.
